Is the Summer Vehicle Health Check really free?
Yes. Our Summer Vehicle Health Check is completely free and includes inspection of your tyres, brakes and battery. Wheel alignment adjustments or repairs are only charged if required.
What does the FREE vehicle safety check include?
The inspection includes tyre tread depth, tyre pressures, tyre sidewalls, brake inspection, battery test and a wheel alignment check. If any issues are found we'll explain them before any work is carried out.
How do I know which air conditioning gas my vehicle uses?
Vehicles built before approximately 2015 generally use R134a refrigerant, while newer vehicles usually require R1234yf. Our technicians will confirm the correct refrigerant before carrying out the recharge.
How often should my air conditioning be re-gassed?
Most manufacturers recommend servicing the air conditioning every 2 years as refrigerant naturally escapes over time, reducing cooling performance.
Why should I have my tyres checked before a holiday?
Correct tyre pressures and sufficient tread depth improve safety, braking performance, fuel economy and reduce the risk of tyre failure during long motorway journeys.
